Dan Benish
A man of many talents, it seems that Dan has done it all. From his days as an All-American defensive tackle on Clemson’s 1981 National Championship football team through his years in the NFL with the Atlanta Falcons and Washington Redskins where he contributed to the latter’s Super Bowl winning season of 1987, he was only getting started.
Post football, Dan began an entrepreneurial career that found him going from a “start up” IT company with just a partner to employing 110 people in 11 offices across the US and generating revenues of over $30 million per year. From there, he joined other companies within the world of IT focusing on building successful sales and service teams before, ultimately, settling on a real estate career that grants him the opportunity to do what he does best… work directly with clients to make their dreams of “beach life” come true.
In addition to his role as a dedicated real estate agent, Dan has spent the last 20 years in a leadership role with the NFL Alumni Georgia chapter carrying through on their mantra of "Caring for Kids" and "Taking Care of their Own". Dan does this by developing relationships with local businesses and community involvement.
Born and raised in Hubbard, OH, a small town near the Pennsylvania border, Dan fell in love with South Carolina while attending Clemson University and has made his home in the South ever since. He has a daughter, Brittany Richards, a son-in-law, Bryant, and his pride and joy, grandson Brayson Daniel, who make their home in Avon, CO.
