Growing up in Winston Salem, North Carolina Mike spent his summer vacations at the beaches of The Grand Strand. Trips to the Hammock Shops, Brookgreen Gardens and playing golf established his love for the Low Country.
After graduating East Carolina University, and 35 years in the airline industry as a pilot flying for Piedmont Airlines / US Airways he was ready to move back to the area where he spent his summer vacations with his wife and daughter.
