Phil Baldwin

Phil Baldwin calls the South Carolina coast a "slice of heaven” having relocated to Pawleys Island from the Atlanta area. Phil’s wife, Libby, a Wilmington, NC native, introduced Phil to the Carolinas where his love of the area has continued to grow. Having family in Wilmington and Charleston, Pawleys Island is the perfect place to call home.

Growing up in Rome, Georgia, Phil attended West Georgia University, followed by the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Georgia and the Graduate School of Banking at LSU. Phil’s 38-year career in banking as a bank president provided an excellent foundation for real estate, his second career. Phil’s 23-year real estate career includes being Managing Partner/Broker in a nationwide, 200-agent office in the Atlanta metro area. This background enables Phil to serve his clients with excellent negotiation skills, while his financial and lending expertise provides a sound advantage for his clients. Real estate designations include: GRI (Graduate Realtors Institute), CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), ABR (Accredited Buyers Representative)

Phil’s devotion to community service includes leadership roles in Chamber of Commerce, Rotary (25 years), Habitat for Humanity, United Way, Kiwanis Club, Jaycees and various other organizations. Here locally, Phil serves on the Board of The Outreach Farm. He and Libby are active members of The Abbey Church in Pawleys Island.

Phil and Libby enjoy beach life to the fullest, living in North Litchfield Beach ~ playing golf at one of the many local golf courses, walking their black Lab, Duke on the beach, or enjoying the fabulous seafood and rich culture the low country has to offer. Phil also loves golf, tennis, boating, hiking, motorcycles, classic cars and horses.
