Damon Barnwell is a licensed Broker Associate/Realtor® with The Litchfield Company/Lachicotte—CHRISTIE’S International Real Estate.

Born and raised in the mountains of Western North Carolina, Damon developed a love of building things and a propensity for problem-solving at an early age, having worked alongside his father and grandfather in the family carpentry business.

As a young man, he moved to coastal South Carolina, moving into construction management, and eventually made his way to banking. Working with clients in the banking industry, Damon was known for his dedicated service, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

Working in banking eventually sparked Damon's interest in real estate, as he saw real estate as a way to help clients within a more involved process. Since 2017, Damon has been a top multi-million-dollar producer in the coastal SC region.

Damon's background in carpentry and home renovation as well as his banking experience, combined with his drive for providing excellent personalized service and solutions to his clients make him a dynamic and knowledgeable realtor, dedicated to his clients.

In 2023, Damon was presented the prestigious “Doc Award,” in honor of the Lachicotte Company’s beloved namesake, Doc Lachicotte, for his integrity, ingenuity, and strength of character.

A South Carolina resident since 2002, Damon is a great lover of the outdoors, an avid golfer, and a dedicated family man who loves spending time with his wife and two children.
